I've been deliquient for a few months. There has been so much going on that I haven't had a chance to stay current with this blog. I've misplaced the cord to my camera so I haven't been able to download my pictures! I promise to get updated ASAP!

We are back in Utah again. We had to come early for a funeral and now have to stay until James takes a test that he has to pass before being able to sit for the bar exam next summer. It is weird to come back here. On one hand it feels almost like home aside from living out of suitcases and bouncing from family to other family's houses. On the other hand I miss our house and having our things. I don't miss Missoula but I do miss some good friends I have made there.

Aubrey is healing well from her surgery last week to relieve her sleep apnea by taking out her tonsils and adnoids. Aurora is growing like a weed! She is discovers a few new things each day and it talking more and more. It is still mostly her special language but she is getting a few words we know in there too! I love watching her grow and learn but at the same time I want her to stay my little baby for at least awhile longer. I am already starting to feel that ache for the missing children that I feel should join our family and I just don't want to go there yet. I just want to enjoy where we are right now.

It's hard to believe we have less than a month left of summer. I'm excited for school to begin and our normal schedule to be back in force. Summer freedom is fun but I do end up missing our normal schedule too. I like to know more what is going on from week to week rather than just doing whatever we feel like. I guess I should use this break while Aurora naps to get my shower in...

Roof Project

James and his Dad starting work on the garage roof. We helped them take off the old roof and put on a new improved one.

James with 2 of my brothers showing how manly they are while taking a break from working on the roof!

Summer trip to Utah

4th of July Fun!
This is Aubrey playing cautiously with a sparkler!

This is Aurora being held by James. She is also not too sure about sparklers...

Aurora and her Grandpa cuddling in his favorite chair.

Aurora checking out the fort Grandma and Jonathan made in the backyard, looks like lots of fun!

Here's the whole gang gardening with Grandpa which is one of his favorite things to do. Aubrey is helping to pick the peas.

Now it's off to the tramp to open all the peas we've retrieved.

Here's a shot of the girls in front of a cool statue at the Hogle Zoo.

Aurora has discovered Watermelon and boy does she LOVE it!

Getting Started

I'm new to this world of blogs, but have enjoyed reading some from my friends and family so I decided I would keep one too. I'm not promising a profound experience just a place to catch up with me and our family. I'll start by introducing my family. This is my husband, James. He is busy going to law school and starts his final year this fall! (Yeah!!!!)

Here's my daughter, Aubrey. She is 7 and starts 2nd grade this Fall. I can hardly believe how grown up she is becoming!

This is our little angel baby, Aurora. She is almost 18 months and just seems to get more adorable each day!

I wasn't expecting that to take so long hopefully it will get easier as I get used to setting up this blog. So I'll have to pick up from there later on.
